NEW YORK — Sweet Loren’s has launched thin and crispy refrigerated cookie dough, bringing a “first-of-its-kind crunch” to the refrigerated dough aisle, the company said.
The pre-portioned refrigerated dough can be baked in a conventional oven or toaster oven, whether it is one cookie or an entire tray, Sweet Loren’s said. Both dough varieties contain 100 calories per serving in addition to being non-GMO, certified gluten-free, dairy free and free from the top nine major food allergens.
The new dough varieties include chocolate chunk, thin and crispy cookies filled with rich chocolate chunks, and double chocolate, a “deeply chocolatey” cookie with a brownie-inspired flavor and delicate crunch, Sweet Loren’s said.
“We’ve always believed better baking means never having to choose between incredible taste and ingredients you feel good about,” said Loren Castle, founder and chief executive officer of Sweet Loren’s. “Thin and crispy brings something completely different to the refrigerated dough aisle — a light, satisfying crunch from edge to edge, with the convenience and trusted ingredients people expect from Sweet Loren’s. We’re excited to launch it at Whole Foods Market and give cookie lovers another delicious reason to rethink what ready-to-bake dough can be.”
Sweet Loren’s thin and crispy cookie dough will be available at select Whole Foods Market stores in October.
