Little Spoon branches into cereal

NEW YORK — Children’s nutrition company Little Spoon is launching its first line of cereal: Dolphin Divers.

The dolphin-shaped cereal is formulated with whole grain oats, pea protein and sweeteners like date powder and maple syrup. Each serving contains 7 grams of protein.

The gluten-free cereal is available in flavors such as cinnamon, fruity splash and cocoa.

“Cereal is one of the most iconic foods of childhood and one of the hardest to get right,” says Angela Vranich, co-founder and chief product officer at Little Spoon. “Every decision has been its own unique challenge, from how sweet is sweet enough, to ensuring the texture stays crunchy in milk, to making the bowl appear vibrant without artificial dyes.”

Dolphin Divers cereal may be purchased at Target locations nationwide.
