EL SEGUNDO, CALIF. — Beyond Meat, Inc. is entering the energy category with Beyond Immerse Energy, a line of protein-infused beverages.
The canned beverages contain 20 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber and 160 mg of caffeine per serving. The beverages also contain vitamin A and electrolytes.
The flavor lineup includes cherry berry and watermelon strawberry.
“Energy shouldn’t mean choosing between a boost and good nutrition,” said Ethan Brown, founder and chief executive officer of Beyond Meat. “Beyond Immerse Energy brings caffeine from coffee beans together with plant protein, fiber, antioxidants, and electrolytes in one refreshing drink.
