SAN FRANCISCO — Uncountable, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform for end-to-end product development, has developed Regulatory Management to provide formulation teams faster product development cycles across food and beverage and other industries.
Unacountable streamlines its work by checking the regulatory status on the recipe page instead of having to use a separate system after formulation work is done.
Within Regulatory Management, teams are immediately shown a pass or fail for their particular market.
It also shows the jurisdiction, product category, permitted level, link to the official source and date it was last checked.
Unacountable brings together ELN, LIMS, PLM and quality under one roof, allowing the Regulatory Management capability to operate within the system and maintain its own regulations database by using official sources, limiting the need to update regulations manually.
“For decades the rulebook moved slowly enough that you could check compliance of the finished product and be fine,” said Noel Hollingsworth, chief executive officer and co-founder of Uncountable. “That assumption has stopped holding. We think compliance belongs alongside formulation rather than in a review that happens afterward, and the software that people work with every day should reflect that.”
