MINNEAPOLIS — Terra Ingredients has partnered with Premium Gold, a Mandan, ND-based food company that specializes in producing flaxseeds and functional grains, to launch two new fonio products called natural white fonio, the latter’s first for the US markets.
Available in 10-oz and 2.2-lb stand-up pouches, natural white fonio is a West African grain known for nutrition, resilience and culinary versatility.
“We are proud to deepen our partnership with Premium Gold through this launch,” said Peter Carlson, director at Terra Ingredients. “Together, we are helping introduce more consumers to fonio while supporting a supply chain rooted in farmer partnerships and long-term sustainability.”
The fonio products are now available through Amazon and the Premium Gold website before expanding to other online and retail grocery channels throughout the United States in the coming months.
