It is the strongest first quarter in Exacta Group’s 25-year history
A Bristol tech company that was founded in a tiny self-storage unit in Bristol 25 years ago is celebrating a record-breaking start to the financial year. Exacta Group has reported revenue of £8.5m for the first quarter of 2026 – up more than 60 per cent on a year earlier.
The Emersons Green-based company builds servers and the software for them, and is the owner of two Bristol businesses – Exacta Technologies and Blackcore Technologies. It works across a range of industries including medical, engineering, finance, transport and education.
The results mark the group’s strongest quarter in its history, driven by continued rising demand for high‑performance server infrastructure and hardware globally, Exacta said.
The group also closed the quarter with its highest order intake to date and said it was expecting to achieve record revenue by the end of the first half as growth continues into the second quarter.
David Osmond, chief executive of the Exacta Group, said: “This has been an exceptional start to the year and our best quarter to date. Delivering more than 60 per cent growth year‑on‑year in Q1 reflects both the strength of demand in the market and the incredible work of our team across the group.
“Just as importantly, we’re exiting the quarter with a record order book, which gives us real confidence in the months ahead. Momentum is strong, execution is strong, and we’re well positioned for continued growth through Q2 and beyond.”
Exacta, which was founded in 2001 by Nick Rogers, said its performance builds on its “strong growth” last year and as demand continues to accelerate across global markets.
“The group remains focused on scaling sustainably while maintaining the quality, performance and reliability its customers depend on,” the company added.
Last year, Exacta announced it would become the sleeve sponsor for Bristol City in a multi-year deal starting with the 2025-2026 season.
Mr Rogers, a “devoted Bristol City supporter”, said at the time the deal was a “massive honour”.
“At Exacta, we help businesses unleash their potential through our technology, and through this agreement we look forward to playing a part in propelling Bristol City men’s and women’s teams up into the top flight,” he said.
