BONITA SPRINGS, FLA. — Armra is launching a soda featuring bovine colostrum, the initial milk produced by a mammal directly after giving birth.
The company describes the beverage as the first ready-to-drink beverage powered by colostrum to hit the market.
Armra’s colostrum soda is formulated with over 400 bioactive nutrients intended to fuel holistic body health, according to the company.
The soda line features four flavor varieties: spicy lime soda, pomelo basil soda, huckleberry soda and pear ginger soda.
“Colostrum is the original source code for human biology,” said Sarah Rahal, MD, founder and chief executive officer of Armra. “With Armra colostrum soda, we are translating that into a format people already love, without diluting its purpose. This is how we expand access while staying true to the science.”
Consumers may purchase the soda in a 12-pack for $49.99 on the company’s website beginning April 30. A retail rollout is expected this year, according to the company.
