SAN DIEGO — With the backing of a pre-seed funding round, Vivi Labs has launched Vivi, the company’s proprietary blend of organic coffee, hydrolyzed grass-fed bovine collagen, nicotinamide riboside and rutin, along with gum acacia, natural flavors, Himalayan pink sea salt and organic maple sugar.
The funding, which raised roughly over half a million, also will help Vivi Labs accelerate retail expansion, increase inventory capacity and support new product launches.
The founders designed Vivi to support cellular function, collagen synthesis and sustained energy, according to Vivi Labs.
Vivi is offered in two SKUs: classic, a sugar free coffee; and latte, a low sugar coffee that is lightly sweetened with maple sugar.
“Wellness should live in one delicious cup you already reach for every day,” said Stefan Hertzberg, co-founder and chief executive officer of Vivi Labs. “Vivi is about simplifying wellness while making it more effective, more personal, and easier to stay consistent with.”
Future innovations include a ceremonial grade longevity matcha that is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2026.
Consumers can find Vivi on the company’s website and in select retailers across Southern California, Florida and New York.
“We launched direct-to-consumer to control the narrative, own the customer relationship, and iterate in real time,” Hertzberg said. “At the same time, we’re placing Vivi in select specialty retailers across the US that align with our brand and audience, not chasing mass too early.”
Sampling and experiential events also are a focus for the company’s go-to-market strategy.
“We’re activating 8 to 10 in-person events and brand partnerships every month with high-performance communities like Life Time, Equinox, Rivian and others,” he said. “The strategy is simple. Build a premium brand DTC (direct-to-consumer). Prove velocity through community and retail partners. Expand globally while the category is still forming. Move fast, stay disciplined, and scale with intention.”
