FlavorSum acquires Beverage Flavors International

KALAMAZOO, MICH. — FlavorSum has acquired Beverage Flavors International (BFI). Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Following the acquisition, BFI will continue operating at its Chicago facility with its existing team remaining in place to support beverage flavor and base development, FlavorSum said.

Founded in 2002, BFI specializes in emulsion flavor bases for manufacturing fruit-flavored beverages as well as carbonated soft beverages and customized solutions in addition to sweetener solutions, the company said.
