NEW YORK — Cadootz, a children’s food company from food entrepreneur Rachel Mansfield, is launching its first product line with a collection of cheese crackers. The crackers are offered in such flavors as cheddar, sea salt and ranch.
Each serving of the USDA-certified organic crackers contains 5 grams of protein and is free from gluten and seed oil.
“As parents, we are packing snacks constantly: for school, activities, car rides, and we kept asking ourselves why it was so hard to find options that actually met our standards and our kids’ expectations,” said Mansfield, co-founder of Cadootz.
The crackers may be purchased online through the company’s website and on Amazon. Retail expansion is expected later this year, according to the company.
