Puris launches ClearP hydrolyzed pea protein

MINNEAPOLIS — Puris has launched Puris ClearP Hydrolyzed Pea Protein for protein-centric beverages, confections and snacks. The ingredient comes in a white powder form and may offer up to approximately 90% of protein content.  

When used in beverage formulations, Puris said ClearP dissolves with clarity and stability to offer a protein beverage that stays bright. It performs well in high-acid, clear and commercially viable applications, according to the company.

The ingredient may be used in such beverage applications as clear ready-to-mix and ready-to-drink beverages, fruit juices and juice shots, energy beverages and sparkling or still soft beverages.
