DALLAS — Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU), a subsidiary of Grupo Bimbo SAB de CV, has relocated its corporate headquarters to Dallas from Horsham, Pa. BBU said the move “supports greater alignment across US operations and positions the company for long‑term growth.”
In addition to putting corporate leadership closer to key parts of its business, BBU said the Dallas location offers a central position within the United States and puts BBU closer to parent company Grupo Bimbo’s global corporate office in Mexico City. BBU also noted that the Dallas-Fort Worth area already is a significant market for the company, home to multiple baking plants, sales centers and distribution facilities.
“Our commitment to baking and delivering the highest‑quality, nutritious and delicious baked goods and snacks to our customers remains our top priority,” said Greg Koehrsen, president of BBU. “Relocating our headquarters to Dallas positions us to operate more efficiently as we continue to invest in our brands and our communities.”
Texas has played an important role in Grupo Bimbo’s history. In 1998, Grupo Bimbo entered the US market through the acquisition of Mrs. Baird’s Bakery. Since then, BBU has expanded its footprint across Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth region.
“Texas was our first home and played a defining role in our early history,” Koehrsen said. “We’ve built a strong presence here over the years, and this region remains central to who we are today. We’re looking forward to deepening those roots as we grow and continuing to support the communities that have supported us.”
While the corporate headquarters is moving, the company’s presence in the greater Philadelphia region will continue through the Conshohocken Sales Center and regional operations, BBU said.
“We are deeply grateful to the greater Philadelphia community,” Koehrsen said. “The Philadelphia area was our home for 17 years, and we will always appreciate the important role it has played in our journey.”
BBU shifted its headquarters from Fort Worth, Texas, to Horsham following Grupo Bimbo’s acquisition of Weston Foods in 2009.
