COLLEGEDALE, TENN. — McKee Foods has introduced soft baked cookies as part of its Little Debbie brand.
Featuring a soft interior and chewy bite, the 3-oz cookie is individually wrapped. It also comes in two varieties: chocolate chip and peanut butter.
The chocolate chip cookies have a golden-brown appearance and cracked surface along with evenly distributed semi-sweet chocolate chips.
The peanut butter cookies also have a golden-brown finish and cracked aesthetic while being made with peanut butter for a nutty flavor, McKee said.
“Little Debbie has long been known for creme-filled cookies,” said Chuck Clevenger, associate brand manager at McKee Foods. “Now we are offering new traditional soft baked cookies that deliver the soft, satisfying texture today’s consumers want. By combining a bakery-style experience with the convenience of a 3-oz individually-wrapped package, we’ve created a treat that is perfect for any on-the-go snacking occasion.”
Little Debbie soft baked cookies will be available later this month.
