GoodPop debuts sour frozen novelties

AUSTIN, TEXAS — GoodPop, a frozen novelty manufacturer, is launching a sour candy fruit pop. The gluten-free frozen Fruit Sours are available in green apple, lemonade, cherry and melon flavors.

The non-GMO fruit pops are formulated with a fruit juice base and a sour candy coating. The frozen novelties contain 10 grams of sugar, with 3 total grams of added sugar.

“Sour is everywhere (and a personal favorite), so we’re proud to offer the first sour pop made with real fruit and less added sugar,” said Daniel Goetz, founder and chief executive officer of GoodPop. “Our goal at GoodPop is to bring innovation into the frozen category while meeting our very high nutrition and ingredient standards. Our proprietary sour candy coating brings an added layer of whimsy and delight to a rapidly rising category.”

The fruit pops are available in a 16-count box at select retailers.
